Description
The Grand Meyer THM200 twin-core electric heating mat is designed for comfortable and primary underfloor heating in rooms of any type. It is ideal for cold spaces such as balconies, ground floors, and winter gardens, as well as for use as the main heating source. It is installed directly under the floor covering, in a cement screed or in a layer of tile adhesive approximately 5 mm thick, without the need for a thick sand-cement screed. It is most commonly installed under ceramic tiles using tile adhesive.
Heating cable structure:
Twisted heating conductors made of CuNi, CuCr, and NiCr alloys, depending on resistance.
Inner insulation made of heat-resistant extruded FEP.
Aluminium foil screen.
Drain conductor made of twisted Al-Mg wires.
Outer insulation made of modified polyvinyl chloride (PVC) with increased heat resistance.
Synthetic fiberglass mesh, 50 cm wide.
Joint.
3.0 m cold lead (PVC 3×1.0 mm²).
A) The heating cable is only 3.6 mm thick, allowing the use of a minimal layer of tile adhesive.
B) The heating cable is securely stitched to an ultra-thin and durable synthetic mesh with a thickness of only 0.2 mm, which does not deform during installation.
